A Rainy Day in Paradise

Ahhhh the soothing sounds of rain on the yurt roof. All night long. Sometimes soft, sometimes hard and even though we wished it would turn to snow- IT RAINED ALL NIGHT LONG.


So we played some card games.
Cleaned up breakfast and lunch

Took trips in the rain to the out house
Looked at the view of the rain on the mountains
Played some more card games
Took walks in the rain

Tucked the little ones pants into their boots because of the growing puddle in the potty house.



Scooped snow to melt for waterplayed dogpile on Uncle Jed

Played charades - see no evil, hear no evil, say no evil monkeys
Gave up waiting for the rain to stop and went out to play in the snow
It just made the hill a little slick

But it was really really fun

Kurt and Gil gave up waiting for a lull in the rain and took a load of extra stuff to the cars and brought up the polk the Davis's had taken down the night before. IT was Still Raining when they got back.

Tucker listened to a little music- we played some more card games had dinner, cleaned uptook out the grey water
And as the little ones tuckered out
Gil and Kurt stoked the fire for the night
We found our beds and fell asleep to the soothing sounds of rain on the roof of the yurt.
